oldspwr
I'm about to remove my rear struts. I started to pull off the inside trunk carpet then i got the pb blaster and started to spray them over the strut bolts when I noticed that there is no nuts on the strut bolts (both of them on each side) My question is are there supposed to be nuts on the bolt and if yes what is the size so i can buy new one. DiscoStudd
No, there are no nuts. The strut towers are threaded for the upper strut mount bolts...
oldspwr
Thanks for the information. Also i'd like to mention for anyone doing the front kyb struts that they need a T40 torx bit to hold the strut inplace (The oem struts uses the T50 torx bit) Becareful when using the T40 bit because it is prone to either brake off or strip the shaft as i did. DiscoStudd
My KYB's had a traditional "hex" head on them (and I don't for the life of me remember what size.)

Or one of these in my case worked pretty damn well
