Psych0matt
I'm kinda confused. You put some tint type stuff on your headlights? what does that have to do with your plate (in the linked thread)?

stockgp
the laser shield is supposed to prevent laser speed radar from picking up how fast you are going. since cops are trained to aim for your license plate, you put this thing on your plate and it scrambles the signal or something
Prospeeder
ok thats retarded, what do u spray ur whole car, and it blocks radar detectors? what dou think theyll think whenu fly by and they dont get a reading? lol
f_399
ok thats retarded, what do u spray ur whole car, and it blocks radar detectors? what dou think theyll think whenu fly by and they dont get a reading? lol its legal and you only spray reflective parts not paint it only works against laser, radar... the radar detector will pick it up and give you time to slow down... not laser you should read the laser veil site being a black car, its harder for laser to get a speed reading
Brian P
I'm kinda confused. You put some tint type stuff on your headlights? what does that have to do with your plate (in the linked thread)? It makes the plate invisible, as you can see

SigEpCutlass
i'm not convinced that stuff works. there's a lot of similar products out there that i've seen. my friend used something similar to that, and he still got nailed on I-95 b/c his radar detector didn't go off. They still were able to clock him traveling 15mph over the speed limit. I'll have to find out which one it was, because that isn't it. Either way, I'm skeptical... I rely on my Escort Passport8500 X50, and she's never let me down in the 6+ months I've had it. Ultimately, you need a good radar detector anyway, because even if this stuff works, a cop can still clock you manually.
runt
Or how about you don't speed?
SigEpCutlass
lol that might be a good suggestion...but very unlikely.
GP1138
I just wax my car a whole bunch, and the cops can't catch me, they drive shitboxes anyway, they're jealous of my machine.
f_399
you have to match it with a good detector, i use the v1 and it has great laser detection this thing has beed proven to work by independent testers http://www.radarbusters.com/support/speedlabs-2004/veil.asp http://www.radarbusters.com/support/speedlabs-2005/veil.asp
SigEpCutlass
well after looking at that, it tells me that the product would basically be worthless on a light colored car (like mine). It's almost 1/2 as effective as it is on a dark car like yours. I'm still not impressed at all. They should have re-engineered the product or created a version of it that was equally effective on your vehicle, regardless of what color it is. Yeah, my IROC-Z28 has special paint that the radar just bounces off of, but it really doesn't matter because my car is so fast no one can catch me. GnatGoSplat
this thing has beed proven to work by independent testers Independent paid testers. I don't believe it.
f_399
did you even watch the video?
GnatGoSplat
About half of it. I'm still not a believer. If a video was all it took to convince me, I'd own everything from that As Seen On TV company. I wouldn't pay $90 for paint anyway. I hardly ever speed. SigEpCutlass
did you even watch the video? Yup...and I'm still like whooptie do...it's garbage. Why would I pay that much for something that is almost 1/2 as effective on a vehicle of a lighter color. It's poorly engineered if there's that much of a difference. Yes I understand some of the science behind it, but they should have engineered it to be equally effective in all applications. Also, I'm with Shawn on the paid thing...it's not like the annual radar detector test.
wacky
Its meant for laser. Officers when shooting laser aim at your front plate and headlights. So having a darker headlight/plate makes it difficult to get a reading on their laser gun. The cost is alittle high!
