The 89 had a Gas door opener, while the 90 you had to manually go out and open it by hand

The Radios were really different

IF anyone has anything to add, please do, i find it so strange that they have these differences like this, did regular grand prixs with cloth or leather SE's have ribbed seats in 88-90?

The headlights/fog lights have the black trim all the way around on the 1989. Some 89s had factory glass headlights too, maybe the early 90 model did but later in production they went ot the plastic.

The door speakers are like a mono/stereo switch on some head units. I'm sure its good for something, I just haven't figured it out yet.

My '90 doesn't have the E/M button. On '89s it should be on the right side button pod next to the steering wheel, with the wiper controls.

actually it's a Met/Eng switch just below the windshield wiper switch assymbly.

How about a security lighting switch where the headlight swith assymbly is?

The 89 has it too.

No, all kidding aside, I liked the 90 seats better. I think they wear better too. All that smooth leather surface on the 89 is prone to show its maturity no matter how well you take care of it.

yeah, it sure was. I love the security lighting. And, I thought the STE was just supposed to be a 4 door TGP...odd.

What DIC did different year TGP's have? Was the STE the only car to get the VFD?
