wally05
Hey guys, I just want a cd player in my car, I don't really care too much about features. I just want a cheap/reliable headunit. Any suggestions? Anyone have one for sale? Korey
slick
Cheap, but reliable. Go with Pioneer.
jdcutty
As much as people dont like them, I have had no problems out of any of my Sony things.
White93z34
my sony, it was good outlived some 3 cars before dyeing, but it sounded like ass the whole time. pioneer is nice and generally simple.
GP1138
Pioneer all the way. I've never had a Pioneer that sounded bad, and even a budget unit will sound decent. Also, the Sony unit I had in my car for about a week sounded alright and read almost any CD I threw at it.
pwmin
panasonic: good features for good price
THe_DeTAiL3R
Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine... I like my Kenwood, it hasn't let me down in the 4(?) years I've had it. However I'd maybe look at Pioneer next time as they appear to be a bit cheaper and have some other features I like.
