every time i hit a bump the driver side shudders and feels like something is loose.....every thing is tight....could it be a bad spring or strut

yeah, could very well be a strut...i HIGHLY doubt its a spring cause i'm sure that side would sit lower if the spring was broken/weak...might also be an alignment issue...

Tell us the out come..I think one of both of mine need to b replaced as well...Mine still handles good, but every once in a while will have a loud bang sound when I hit a smaller sized bump and I can feel it in the steering wheel...maybe some bushing is shot??

However, tell us what happens in two weeks since I might need to struts as well in the front :D1

Thanks

Thats what i'm thinking. My 88 is loud as fuck whenever i hit a bump on the front, pass. wheel. The upper strut mount bushings are shot. The car still handles as good as it ever did. It's been like this since 1999, and has never gotten any worse.
