1990lumina Posted March 7, 2005 Report Share Posted March 7, 2005 Okay guys. This is confusing me. I've been look at some 5x7 for my dad's Tauurs since a blew up the stockers a few months ago. I found some that sound really good (or good enough for the Taurus), but I'm confused with the size. The speaker size is apparently 5x7/6x8? Does this mean they are available in to different sizes, or are the mounting holes the same for 5x7 and 6x8 or what? The Tauurs currently has 5x7 in the rear, and I'd just like to keep it stock so I don't want to cut an new holes in the rear deck or anything..just looking for something that bolts in, sounds good like these Infinity's do..but the sizing confuses me lol - Jeff L.
