iTurbo Posted January 15, 2003 Report Share Posted January 15, 2003 Can aluminum head combustion chambers be cleaned with a Dremel tool and a brass cup brush? If so, what speed setting should I use? Guest Anonymous Posted January 16, 2003 Report Share Posted January 16, 2003 With a brass brush I'd try half speed but don't press very hard. The brass shouldn't do anything to the aluminum but be sure first. I did a set of heads from a 3100 with a carbon steel brush. It didn't do anything bad to the heads. Polished the up real good.
