mfewtrail Posted January 7, 2005 Report Share Posted January 7, 2005 Drive around the water unless using drag radials(probably not a good idea for the ol' 4T60 in stock form), and before staging spin your tires enough to completely turn them over(this cleans them off a bit basically). When you stage, don't worry about your r/t and concentrate on nailing your launch, I'd try taking it up to 2,000rpms and if you can floor it immediately. If you lose traction doing that, try slowly going WOT(take about a second to fully depress the throttle). Try different rpms to launch from, and see what works best for you.
