Its like Pontiac, Chevy, GM, etc. They make tranny's for a whole bunch of cars, Nissan, Mercedes, BMW, GM's, and chrysler, to name a few. Guest TurboSedan Posted June 28, 2004 Report Share Posted June 28, 2004 both of my car's have Getrag 5-speeds. i think the 282 was Getrag designed and Muncie built. likewise the A555 in my GTS has Getrag gears but was actually built by New Process.
