Brian P has a nice page on this. the outside temp sensor is located behind the grill. from what i can tell, the ECC is the hardest electronic interior upgrade to do.

I actually HAD a complete page and was going to make it a part of w-body.com but geoshitties malfunctioned and deleted the entire thing (it was ALL text) so I did most of it on my computer in notepad. I just need to find a little bit more info I had on paper, then I'll have it up!

I just went to your page and saw the H/O 94 Convertible...thats kick ass, I've never seen that before. Where did you get those pics? Do you know anything else about that ride?

Yeah, and the 3.4 badge on the back looks like the 3.4 Euro badges...

Was that a GM thing, or was it a custom job one guy decided to do?

It looks cool all the same.

Did they actually make a W-body hurst olds though? I know all about the ones from the 60s through the 80s. i personally want either an G body (80s) 442 or H/O.

I never heard about that kind of W-body Hurst though. That thing looks amazing.

According to the owner of that car, that was the only made by Hurst themselves. It's still a 3.4 automatic, just the hurst shifter, the gold stripe, badging, and seat embroidering. I think the owner added the V6-HO and 3.4 badges. Looks a little tacky.

Shawn, I think the site you have saved is the same. I organized some "loose" papers around my "office" last night and I found the other piece of paper I needed!

I still have the original message written by the owner of the car, Angelo Valenti:

Hi,

I'm new to the GM W-Body list. I have a 1994 Cutlass Supreme SL Covertible

Hurst/Olds with the 3.4l DOHC 215 hp motor. The car has a one of a kind

Hurst package which consist of Hurst Lightning Rod Shifters, hood heat

reducters, Hurst/Olds emblems on the doors and Hurst equipped emblem on the

trunk, seat head rest have the Hurst Logo stiched on them, The car is all

white with Maroon interior, and 4 bucket leather seats, and has a white top.

The Hurst conversion was done by the Badgleys who are the founding members

of the Hurst/Olds Club of America, which has been around for 25 years. I

absoultely love this car and have been playing with the idea of a

supercharger for more power,,,hopefully everyone on this list can give me

ideas of what I can do to get more power out of the 3.4L V6. I have done

absoultley nothing to the motor, the car is the way I bought it. I have only

17,000 miles on it, it never see's the winter, and I've started to take it

to shows this year. In the 4 shows I've been to I've taken 3 first and a

3rd. I also own a 1985 442 FE3X W30 Hurst Equipped Concept Car its 1 of 2

made by Cars & Concepts in 1985 for Oldsmobile Motorsports and GM

Engineering and Bill Porterfield who designed the cars. They Originally

where supposed to be released into production as the 1985 Hurst/Olds but it

was "knifed" at the last moment., real shame to cause the cars are absoultly

beautiful.

Well I look forward to learning alot on this list making some new friends

and getting helpful tips for getting the most out of my W Body Cutlass 3.4L

DOHC...here is a pix of my Lightning Rod setup in my Cutlass also

Thanks

Angelo D Valenti

That car was a one-off... would it actually be considered a real Hurst Olds though?
