1988PhantomFE3 Posted April 7, 2012 Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 I'm starting to think we did NOT have a Phantom FE3 now. Our ground FX are different. If you go to page 3 of my thread, you can see the pics of the ground effects kit we pulled off. No sport pod and a different center console than I've ever seen - is that a compartment in front of the '1 1of 200' plaque? Can you post another pic of that setup and another view of the spoiler? Our rear bumper/ground FX cover once had the CUTLASS SUPREME SX decals. I can still see where they were if I look at it in the right light. I plan on putting the decals back on for our 1988 Indy 500 Pace Car tribute car. I figure, the gaudy decals will make it look more like a Indy 500 Pace Car. You know how Oldsmobile/IMS had to tatoo everything everywhere, especially if it was old school! 1988PhantomFE3 Posted April 25, 2012 Report Share Posted April 25, 2012 I found another Cutlass Supreme SX online, here's the pics. It appears the Phantom FE3 & the Cutlass Supreme SX were 2 different Dealer options, from what I can gather in the descriptions. The sure way I can tell the difference is the rear spoiler, it has 3 mounting points underneath it, the Phantom only has 2. The ground FX kits are close, but different too. No Phantom Decals on the SX, just the huge lettering on the back bumper cover. There has to be someone who knows this stuff officially...
