was fine for me all day yesterday and earlier today. Then tonight it stopped working on me, then it would work occasionally. I checked for vacuum and it's there. What should I check for now? Thanks in advance.

make sure you have brake lights. the same thing happened to me a while ago, there are a series of small metal contacts that run the turn signals and other lighting crap. Since the cruise is "fused" by the brake circuit, I'd guess that the contact has worn out and gotten loose. If you pull the turn signal arm back just a little and then try and apply the cruise it should work. Sometime, you're going to have to take the column down and pull out those contacts, I just beaded a little solder on to bulk up the contact point, and pulled them out a little, and I haven't had any problems since.
