So today the bracket on the range selector on the outside of the transmission on my 03 Impala decided to separate from the shifter cable. The ball on the end of the bracket is gone and the cable will not stay on. Does anyone have recommendation on sourcing a replacement bracket? I cannot find a part number or any info online… thanks!

There's no *ball* on the end of the bracket, there is a ball on the end of the trans lever. It is screwed into the lever.
