Neilap Posted December 19, 2016 Report Share Posted December 19, 2016 Hello everyone, in a nutshell I looked up a W boy forum for this issue and here it goes. I have a 3.1L 1997 monte carlo with a no start condition (no spark but cranks strong). the computer is putting off a P0336 code for crank sensor range/performance. as I understand this is for the crank sensor at the balancer and the 7x sensor on the backside of the engine is actually responsible for spark. the car does have intermittent rough idle and rich exhaust as expected for the p0336 code but what else could you guys think of that would be causing this sudden out of nowhere no start condition? or any thing you guys can suggest me to hands on diagnose that the computer may have forgot. thanks!
