sean1991olds
If it is considered a classic or collector car in your state you might be able to find a company that goes with an agreed value on the car. Mine has an agreed on value, and I pay premium based on that. They took pics of the car and any evidence you provide on its rarity helps your case too. None of this, well we think its worth x dollars stuff!I also get $1k-2k coverage on spare parts.. like if you were to buy a parts car and someone stole it, you get some money back on that even. cdn_olds_94
The real pisser is that it has brand new tires (less than 300 miles on them), and engine & trans are super tight and perfect. This car was garage kept and it still has its factory paint, which is still shiny like new. The leather seats are original and look new too. I'm trying to decide what to do with it now; fix it or part it out. Plus, my insurance company is trying to screw me on the value. My advice to you is get it fixed. Screw the insurance company, they are only looking out for themselves.
GabsOlds
Well... I wonder what you decided to do with the car.
