I've been wanting to post pictures of my 94 Cutlass Supreme Convertible, but I've held off until I had the roof replaced. I got her back from the trim shop yesterday. Got rid of the old top and went with a new cloth top. I also had the boot cover redone in the same Canvas material to match the top. So say hello to Sally.

With all the work done , the total was just over $3800.00 Cdn. Besides the top being replaced, the boot cover was redone in the same canvas material as the top. And the drivers seat was rebuilt and stitched.

Ive been quoted about half that for Vert top and installation. Top is suppose to be made out of the same material that Corvettes and Cadillac XLRs use.

I had the cloth top replaced on mine, it cost $1400.  I didn't think about having the boot redone.  I should look into it.

Keep in mind, a Canadian dollar these days is worth around 71-75 cents US...so subtract around 25% from that figure, and you'd be close to the US dollar cost.

Ok, this is for the folks who wanted a break-down of the cost to replace the top on my Vert. The work was done by Trim-Tech in Oshawa, Ontario. All prices are in Cdn dollars and will be higher then prices in the USA. and yes, the matirials used are the same as used on the Corvettes and Cadillac's. 

 

New Canvas top  : $839.90

New Pads : 200.00

New Cables : 189.00

New Head liner : 599.00

New Rear Glass : 199.50

Recover Boot Cover in same Canvas material as the top :  200.00

Rebuild and repair Drivers seat : 350.00

 

The rest is labor and Tax.

Over all seams about right. Very nice vert. Bet you get a lot of double looks with it.

Thanks for the complements everyone. Yes, I've been getting a lot of attention from people since the top was replaced. The biggest interest comes from the local police ( Durham Regional Police ) who have pulled me over 5 times since the work was done. And it's always the older cops. They had one or a parent or friend had one.
