Quick question:are there any big brake kits that are for the 2000 and up model Impala. I am looking to customize my car this year and that is first on my agenda. Any info helps. rich_e777 Posted December 21, 2015 Report Share Posted December 21, 2015 IIRC the SS Monte Carlo and Grand Prix GTP have larger brakes that are bolt on. Something that has been mentioned before on modding brakes was to be sure your current system is operating as it should. Nas Escobar Posted December 21, 2015 Report Share Posted December 21, 2015 If the Impala doesn't have dual piston front brake calipers, that would be the first thing to do. Not sure what other W's had that which would make it a bolt on but it would be something to look into. I know the GXP rear brakes are supposed to be of quality and that should bolt on to the Impala.
