Need to clean/tap the bolt hole for the Harmonic balancer-Tap thread size?

Trying to reinstall the harmonic balancer and the bolt doesn't want to start. It probably got slightly damaged from the balancer puller. Anybody know what size tap to use on the crankshaft so I can clean it up? The head of the bolt is a 15mm, but I'm not certain what the actual thread size is in the crank. I don't have my calipers or thread gauges with me right now!
