To be honest, if you have a welder and can weld, they don't look too hard to make...but I don't have a welder, nor do I know how to weld... So for all I know they could be a pain in the ass... I know the Monte Carlo is different (the splash guards aren't interchangeable...) but it does have some plastic pieces...
