rolling back a ub3

im looking into geting a ub3 digi cluster it has 145k on it i need it t say 87k is there a way to roll these back can a dealership do it?

I had a cluster out of an 02 escalade rolled back to 108k miles from 194k miles.

i was talking to my neighbor and he said the gm dealers ship can do a digital thats not obd2 so i will have to check around

I'd have bet money that rolling back an odometer was a federal crime.

hmm.... i wonder how the cluster stores the mileage.... if it's an EEPROM or FLASH, it probably wouldn't be too hard to pull the data off of it and identify where the current mileage is held and modify it from there....

I know which chip holds the mileage, but I don't know how to reprogram it.
