xtremerevolution
Real quick, does anyone know the torque specification for the bolts on the 4T60E side cover? Also, is there a specific tightening pattern? I seem to have misplaced my haynes manual...
Night Fury
Are there nuts AND bolts holding the trans side cover on? My thing says: Install the case side cover pan. Install the gasket. Install the bolts. Tighten Tighten the bolts to 11 N·m (97 lb in). Tighten Tighten the nuts to 8 N·m (71 lb in). There are no patterns shown

xtremerevolution
Buck, what's 97 in-lb in ft-?lb 8 That's what I used. I just needed a second opinion. Doesn't matter who it is, I like to be 100% sure before I go off tightening bolts that need to support half the engine and transmission's weight.
