douellette Posted July 17, 2009 Report Share Posted July 17, 2009 when i turn to the right and sometimes with the wheels straight there is this steady squeeking sound and its sounds like its coming from the right side of the car. the sound goes away when i turn left though. what could this be? the car is a 97 cutlass supreme 2 dr. douellette Posted July 18, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2009 does the sound change any when you apply the brakes? nope, stays the same. ive checked the pads on the passenger side (like physically removed them and looked at them) but the other side i just looked at them while they were still in place and they appear to be the same.
