We have compiled a list of our "normal" street cars with those of some of our viewers. We hope to pertain a more accurate description of how fast cars really are with normal drivers behind them, not someone who has had training behind the wheel other than maybe some drivers education course in high school :)

All of the vehicles with their specifications, modifications, and problems are initially listed and their quarter mile times are listed towards the end of the document. If you would like to submit your car please read the end of the document.

A 94' Chevy Lumina Z34 2 dr. Sedan has an approximate weight of 3200lbs. and according to what the guy wrote with the 95' Monte Z34 his car weighs 3400lbs, and 3600lbs. with driver.... Every 100 pounds is worth a tenth in the quarter, you do the math.

Ya, I've heard that 100lbs worth a tenth too. Sooo, I took out all my sound deadening material and the padding under the carpet (almost 100lbs). When (if) I ever get to the drags, I'm losin my passenger seat, spare tire and subs! MAYBE I'll get a sub 15 sec 1/4???

But's that in race stance. What about driving around and you challenged by a ego-boosting ricer?

I want to know what I'm pulling with everything in the car so I can use that info on the road.

yes, you can go faster with weight reduction... but what about the other 99% of the time when you're driving?

However, that's just personal opinion.

I really doubt the jet chip is doing anything. From what the do for the 91-93 DOHC cars and the pushrod cars, I laughed. A 94 Z34 doesn't weigh 3200 pounds either. A 3.1 manual trans grand prix without the B4U package barely touches 3200 pounds without the driver. Luminas weigh the most of the DOHC cars (Z34).
