94slutlasssupreme Posted September 25, 2008 Report Share Posted September 25, 2008 hey all i need info on a l36 motor i cant understand the directions they sent with my new plenum (picture sucks ass) and the instructions dont mention the 2 extra pieces they sent with this thing there are 2 small machined pieces of aluminum that look like they fit into where the egr tube gos but it doesnt make sense are they restrictors in two sizes or what if anyone has any info please get back to me asap im fixing this tonight so i need to know please help.... Andrew Posted September 26, 2008 Report Share Posted September 26, 2008 they send you 2 different EGR stovepipes because the size changed in 99. you can see it when you remove the TB. they are an improvement over the stocker because they narrow towards the top so they dont melt your new upper intake.
