carpesignum Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 I changed my transmission fluid and filter last night. go through the whole think fill it up run it check the level and make sure theres no leaks I drove from moms house to my girlfriends house (10 miles) cut the car off and check again. well I have a thin red fluid dripping (several spots dripping fast but not quite a steady flow) but its dripping between the block and the front frame support not back around the trans pan. went to bed and this morning i checked it out again. - no leak in park at idol - no leak in drive at idol - after i drive it around my fluid is low and the engine is wet from the head/LIM/throttle body area, then down the front of the block. - it doesnt look like its the seal between the engine and transmission is wet/leaking. i have never heard of transmission fluid being routed to the top of the block so i have no idea what could be leaking. any ideas?
