They also went to larger front upper strut mount bolts, I know because my 89 CS auto strut plates that are drilled for my STB won't fit on my 89 CS stickshift. The sticks didn't change until 90, so my 5 speed has a 2.8 as well, even though it is a later one. One of the last 2.8s ever made in a FWD....
