ALways good to hear dude.. I am happy you are managing to get the shit done you want and be happy with the progress.. I am in the "A long time to wait" boat.. But I am looking at various piston forging options.. But i need to get the old ones out of the engine, so the block can be cleaned out.. Then after the cleaning, it will be measured and the forged pistons can be made.. I still need to decide if the stock forged rods are good enough under boost, or if I should upgrade.. Kinda looks like a "While you're in there, might as well" kind of thing.. I was just offered a decent turbo for 650US, but for that money, I could get a long way on building the damn drivetrain..

..Can't wait to see the new pics on the car!

i'd rather let someone else do it.

When it comes to undercoating. Plus I need the car it's my DD and I don't have that kind of time. Money isn't an issue with me, it's the time.

It feels so good to finally get the Cutlass where I have always wanted it.

Over the past year I have achieved almost every goal that I set out for this car. I only have a few things left to do, and it will finally be finished.

Recently I've

-Bought new wheels

-Bought front lowering springs & FFP coilovers with KYB's

-My gauges and gauge pod

-My brake upgrade

All I have left is to..

-Get new rubber for my new wheels

-Install all the lowering parts

-Finish the cross drilled and slotted with cermaic pads in the rear

It's a random post, but it feels good after almost 2 years of dreaming, to finally have her where I want her.

What kind of front lowering springs did you buy i cant seem to find any place that sells them for my car??

I am also curious as to what an L56 is. And I have had a car outlast a 3100 so I wouldn't count out an engine swap yet. Especially as nice as your car is lookin, Matt.

L56= 6.5L Turbo Diesel

now THAT would definately not help the weight distribution!

your girlfriend needs a matching burgundy 1994 cutty ;-)
