Duplicolor wheel coating?

Does Duplicolor wheel coating actually do a decent job? I'm thinking about taking off my wheels and making them white, on the Mirage (should this go in other cars? I mean it is a wheel discussion lol.) What exactly do I have to do to prep, sand and prime? I'm pretty much a n00b with paint so any tips or pointers would be great.

so far, ive had good luck with the duplicolor wheel paint on my ugly-ass xlaces :willynilly:

i painted them with white engine enamel without stripping them and obviously it started coming off right away. when i repainted them gunmetal, i stripped off all the old paint with that airplane stripper stuff (mind going blank) and a powerwasher with no problems yet. i do not like the wheel clear though. i painted my 5spokes with it and it looked like crap and made them look almost gray

I've used Duplicolor wheel paint and clear on my pizza cutters and they turned out well. Considering I really didn't do any prep work, 80% of the paint is still on after 4years+
