why..I want to stick with 17's because I want a light wheel and something easy to put new rubber on.

With all my new suspension I plan to get into auto Xing next spring.

I don't know. It's kinda tacky IMO. I mean it's one thing to paint up a set of stock rims, but aftermarket? Naw. Ruin your stockers if your going to do anything.

I should also mention that I am a super crazy about EVERYTHING being perfect and any fuckup in the paint would piss me off. I guess more personal reasons than anything else.

I think if you were to take the rims to a bodyshop and have them professionally paint them (with really good paint) it might work. I dunno about spray cans though.... I've done it in the past and it looked OK, but if your stock rims are in good condition I'd rather leave them be.

And x2 on the red calipers!!

that def looks good. there is always the powdercoating route. i know there is a shop near me that will do any color for like $75 a rim, and they do a damn good job.

x2 on that antenna

Well maybe I will have them powdercoated gunmetal.

Now that would be a decent idea

x2

That way you don't waste time and $ trying it yourself first, get frustrated, and then get them cleaned and powdercoated.
