Well its hard to compare apples and oranges. But IMO....The RE subs are more geared towards high SPL. The Ov.2 is a SQL sub....It gets crazy loud while still sounding amazing. The type R 12 that I had......isnt even in the same league as these two. And the RE subs like 1000rms+.......while the Ov.2's are more suited for 600-1000rms.
