KnightOwl
If there is one thing a good hand wash reveals is imperfections in the paint finish. Besides the many rock chips I found on the hood and bumper cover, I discovered the driver front corner is crow's-footing pretty badly, the back bumper already had a significant scuff which is now paint-cracking all the way to the rear wheel. Add all this to the different shades between the new pieces and older paint, I think an all-over paint job might be somewhere in my future. If I do, I'd like to upgrade to one of the newer pearl whites GM has offered. The White-gold tri-coat on my 2004 Bonneville is one of the most gorgeous white paint colors. I'm also very fond of the new Malibu Iridescent pearl white. Cadillac also has a couple similar colors but any one would make an eye-popping difference I'm sure.
