Nas Escobar Posted April 6, 2015 Report Share Posted April 6, 2015 Clunks can be a variety of things. I'd start off by checking the wheel. Jack up the car and shake the wheel with your hands at the 12 and 6 positions and the 3 and 9 positions after 12/6. If its loose, at best its loose lug nuts, but usually if the wheel shakes up and down its the lower ball joint or the wheel bearing. Left and right is usually the tie rod.
