yes that is my only problem with it. that's reason enough! in order to lower our cars we are forced to use coilovers. lowering a car is one of the most popular customizations you can do to any car. with the w-body rear suspension, this is practically impossible without using cruddy engineered over-priced coilovers. the rest of the w-body is great IMO, easy to swap engines, transmissions, lots of easy suspension and brake upgrades, they already have nice interiors, blah blah. but when you want to lower it your pretty much screwed. that's why i say it is the worst part of the GEN-1 w-body. it's funny that several companies make lowering springs for the front, but noone will make a lowering leaf spring. what are we supposed to do? drive around with an ugly rake stance? the rear suspension is oddball and companies like flex-a-form don't want to make one probably because there isn't enough market to justify designing and producing one. i just wish the '88-'97 w-body came with rear coils to begin with like the '97+ w-body did.

Hey, I'm wondering.....if removing the aux springs makes the car's ass get higher, is there a way to install a bigger aux spring to lower the car?

If so, it'd prolly be a lot easier to get a company to make some ?thicker? aux springs, instead of a big leaf spring...

Where are you all getting the rubber bushings at? I tried and was told that you have to buy the whole leaf spring to get the bushings.

Just finished mine. The left side bushing looked terrible on the outside. The right side looked deformed yet intact, but the spring had worn through the bottom of the bushing and was directly contacting metal. Hope the wear didn't compromise the integrity of the spring.
