GrandpasLumina
1990 Chevy Lumain Euro (3.1L). I've been trying to diagnose a rough idle/misfire. I had a smoke test done yesterday, and it appeared like there may be a leak around the TPS. The throttle body gasket was really leaky too, so it may have just been from there. When I took off the TPS, I didn't see any sort of gasket. Is there supposed to be one? It looks like it would leak without one, but I'm not sure. I don't see any part listed on Rockauto or anywhere else I've checked.
Imp558
not a gasket, but it should have an O-ring integral to it digitaloutsider
RobertISaar
I'm also remembering an O-ring on a LH0 IAC. I seem to remember fishing one out of the bore rather than it coming off with the IAC before as well.
Imp558
3800 IACV also has an o-ring, all they are is the pintle portion and the seat and passages are in the TB.
