I replaced the factory cassette radio with a 1998 CD 7 band eq radio and I am curious to see if I can add a factory CD changer from a 98 firebird or similar vehicle? I'm not sure what model it came out of since I got it from a friend but I think that it came out of a grand prix. It has a sticker on it that says 1998. RPE1992GPSE Posted April 4, 2020 Report Share Posted April 4, 2020 JimmyFloyd is exactly correct. Only certain Monsoon CD players out of 2000+ Firebirds have CD changer control capability.
