Low fuel light stays on when full

The 1992 GP I'm thinking of buying has a "low fuel" light that stays on. The guy fueled it up before I showed up to look at it and it said "check gauges" and the little orange light for low fuel was on. Is this a common problem?

Oh my-o-my.

I wonder what-in-the-world that could possibly be?

your instrument cluster is suffering from a case of cold solder joint syndrome.

it is a virus that can strike when you least expect it, tylenol & anti-inflammatories will not relieve it,

the cure is an indepth cluster *resolder*
