I googled around and found a couple old newspaper articles about the Cutlass Convertible.   Sorry if these have been posted before.

1992 Chicago Tribune

1995 Orlando Sentinel   (this article says the Cutlass Supreme will be replaced by the Oldsmobile Antares, which later became the Intrigue)

Article sold me on it

Wait a minute, what changed on the suspension between 94 and 95? Was that when the rear accordians were dropped in favor of a swaybar?

Kind of interesting.

suspension changes?  not much, mid 95 cars got an increase in front rotor size.

I have also observed that rear swaybars seem to be standard in cutlasses in 95, but not in 94...  often if the car has a swaybar it does not get the aux springs, but sometimes they could get both, though I believe no W car ever got neither.

No other change in suspension occurred in gen 1 cars

i thought maybe they got rid of the equal length rear lateral bars and went to the short/long arm rear cradle of the 2nd gen rear suspension....giving em the 1.5's

1.5 (aka the 95 Lumina and Monte Carlo) got rid of the mono leaf and made it a conventional rear suspension. The fixed lateral links are the same as is the procedure to align the car. There's probably more to the story but thats the best way to sum it up.
