Ahh, removing L67 spark plug wires for (probably) the first time ever

X2 on this. Odd sounding advise coming from shurkey tho ;)

Wouldn't it have been simpler, faster, and less stressful to take a hammer to a prybar or long chisel, BREAK THE SPARK PLUG PORCELAINS near the metal wrenching surface of the spark plug shell; and then remove the porcelain from the plug boots on the workbench?

 

You're replacing the plugs anyway...it's not like they need to come out in one piece.

Just a hedsup, one of the brackets mounting nuts is in the pic. They mount on the exhaust manifold bolts :)

I tried to feel for the bolts/nuts for those brackets but I couldn't find them. The brackets are the biggest issue for sure.

What pic? The one in the first post? That's the front manifold. I hope there isn't a mounting nut for a rear bracket on the front manifold. ;)
