Imp558 Posted January 4, 2014 Report Share Posted January 4, 2014 My thoughts were that gas should never see the OUTSIDE of the tank so I used a good rubberized undercoating when mine was out. j_mezz Posted January 4, 2014 Report Share Posted January 4, 2014 If you're only going to POR15 the tank I'd get a six-pack of 4-oz cans. You would probably need 2 of them, the rest you could save for a rainy day. If you open a gallon the leftovers will probably harden in the can before you ever use it. pitzel Posted July 13, 2014 Report Share Posted July 13, 2014 I found there was far more rust accumulation on the top of the tank, than actually the bottom.
