mchill07 Posted March 2, 2012 Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 I recently had to replace the starter on my 93 CS and the new starter did not come with any shims. There were not any shims on the old one either. The guy at auto-zone said if there were not any shims, I wouldn't need them. After I got it in... it screeches loudly after the engine starts.
