GTPFiero Posted August 27, 2010 Report Share Posted August 27, 2010 Hello everyone ...I'm a newbie to these great little Turbo engines and have a couple of questions: (1) are these "interferance" engines? (2) do they have Timing Chain or Timing Belt? (3) Is Firing Order of the 3 Coil-pacs Left-to-right or Right-to-left? (4) got 2 plug wires off and want to re-install them properly ...is #1 Plug at the Head the one at left-rear corner and sequence that follows. White93z34 Posted August 27, 2010 Report Share Posted August 27, 2010 The 3.1 IS interference, it is chain driven. firing order is: BACK OF CAR 1-3-5 2-4-6 FRONT OF CAR Plug wire routing for the coils 1-4-6-3-2-5 Welcome to the forums!
