GP1138
Mine never fit right either. I gave up after like the first few times. The top mechanism on mine was a problem, it always seemed to pop up a few inches which didn't let the boot sit right.
94 olds vert
I have a Cutlass Supreme badge and I am wondering where to put it. I have NO other badges on my car except for the front hood emblem. I was thinking on the Left of Right of the deck lid.
Twenty
Pictures? I'd probably tuck it in the corner of the decklid as you mentioned, or maybe even smack-dab in the center.
jeremy
I'd leave it off the car

jeremy
if you insist on putting in on, put it in the left as that is the factory location
Twenty
I don't know why, but I kind of like the right side better.

Crazy K
NOT IN THE MIDDLE. left or right would be passable, but I'd leave it off.
KingVee
I would put it on the left too for the factory fitment look.

94 olds vert
I feel Like I one the Lottery! The previous owner brought over the "bag" for the boot today. He found it in his garage. And guess what! The instructions were in there! And now I know how to put the boot on! So at 52 degrees I put the put on the boot correctly and went for a cruise! Next time, I will take a picture...I was embarrassed to because my car was so dirty.
