Hello,

This weekend I am going to Pick up my first car, I grow up in this car.

It was my dads car, It has been sitting in front of my grandfather for a few years. my grandfather has been getting it first for me, but the car does not want to act right.-would not pass inspection then when it was fix to pass then about pass something else goes. then fixed again the pass with flying color, then it started to mix and could not make it back from the shop.

but now it is ready to :burnout:.

I have been searching to find a place to call home, in matters dealing with the car.

I found W-body.com

I was hoping to get any advice or idea on the cutlass.

It is a

1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 2 door coupe-3.1L

It has a new paint job, not the best job(they screwed the plastic around the doors and window and I am missing the symbol in the front of the car, good thing or bad thing)

and it is running but needs things here and there

I would love any advice on way to keep it going and improve its value and of course give it a little kick

thanks

fix before modding.

new plugs, new oxygen sensor and filters etc etc etc.

start by looking for the best optional parts absent from your car! 5 spoke aluminum rims, HUD, Digital Info System........ radio upgrade?

I am finding that out, but is that not where the fun is?

You just can't go to the store and buy that body kit, you have to find a close body fit, maybe merge to body parts together drill a hole or two and hope you can make it fit.

You will have more love for it, then just buying for it, right?

let's put some sweet and bloods in to it instead of some green.

I want past up some person and have them wonder what I got, have them try to buy what I got to see the look on there face when they find it is not that easy.

but have what is need for the next person to come into control, and work for what they want.

I whether be in a group of a select few, then in a group of no goods.

correct me if I am wrong.

I think that your car would be really good friends with BuckFifty's car!

I'd like to see the car to tell you where to go with it.

BODY CLADDING FTW! if yours doesn't have it..... get it!

If it's anything like mine has been, straight to the scrapper.

I was thinking to out putting the 3.4L into it, 214hp sounds better the 145hp.

it also depends the condition of the motor, and if it likes me.

I will maybe hold off on a engine swap until get another ride(motorcycle) have enough know to do one or if I have enough money to makes sure get gets done right.

and if I buy parts for the 3.1L it should easily transfer to 3.4L right.

typically not.

...if you are going to go through the work of an engine swap, I would put something better then and LQ1 in (and I like the LQ1)
