5speedz34
Ya, it really isn't a whole lot of work. BUT, I need to do the alt since that was on its way out. And I need to do the cradle mounts. I just hope the rack didn't get fucked since that was brand new.

ismellrealbad
Im convinced GM's are more prone to balljoint separation if neglected than others. Like I said this is my 2nd grand prix it happened to and I had a saturn at 130k that started to make the popping sound very slightly before I sold it. Your strut assembly will be fine. Your rack should be fine...especially at that slow speed. Again I was going a whole lot faster. I say just grab a new axle outta the yard, clean the mess up and pop a new balljoint in if you can drill the rivetts outta the old one out. Less than a $100 repair. I got the fender flare new from GM at the super cheap price of $264. That was 2 years ago tho idk if they'll still have them anymore.
