just ordered nuts and sleeves for my rear coilovers. im probably going to wait till next month to order my springs. i found a black nut while looking at the a1racing.com website and ordered that (http://www.a1racing.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1746). its the same price as the gold ones, but has more holes for a spanner wrench, which i dont care about, but its black instead of gold. so, im going to have black sleeves and black nuts w/ red coils. im going to get these springs and have them powdercoated red: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=HAL%2D12%2D175%2D350&N=700+4294925130+4294846689+4294791365+4294787535+4294868465+115&autoview=sku

First post has been updated.

i would add this link under the black coilover nut. it has set screws, but is gold. i havent had any problems w/ the black one (no set screws)moving, but its def possible.

i would also add this link for springs (any of these can be used):

That looks to be the exact adjuster nut that comes with the Held Coil over kits.

Jay, you can take underbody reconditioning off that list, I never did get around to that, ran outta time. Maybe next summer, who knows.

the only cars that are 1.5 gen are the lumina 1995-2001 and the monte 1995-1999 thats it, best and easieest way to tell, its all in the rear end, look at your rear strut mounts, the 1.5 gens use 3 bolt strut mounts like 2nd gen Gp's and regals, and 1st gens use a 2 bolt design that will fit aweb's rear stb

so to drop the front of my car ALL I need is to buy is the spings and change them??? NOTHING else??? I'm confussed

I would recommend new struts as well. You will blow the stockers if you don't.

Here's another for the lowered pics:

This job was done with KYB GR2 shocks all around, KYB strut mounts all around, Suspension Techniques springs up front, and a custom fabricated Flex-A-Form rear leaf.

wanted to add that Intrax springs on 1st gen cars will drop the front suspension *at least* 3.5". before someone orders a 2 inch rear drop spring from birchmount like I did. another thing to watch out for is a 2" drop birchmount spring with pucks is same as stock pretty much. you would need more like 4 1/2" birchmount spring for it to be a close match with the intrax fronts.

my tgp has a 3" drop birchmount, with shaved pucks (1/3 the thickness of normal) and intraxs up front.

my front end almost looked lower than that with the intrax springs for some reason. not sure why the rear didn't drop at all but I might go and shave the pucks at least.

What side of the puck do you shave?
