The one under the T-stat is for the engine to know what temp its at. The one on the rear head with one wire is for the gauge cluster. Both are CTS's though....just for different things

Yeah, I just recently replaced that sensor too....it was telling the car it was -40*F or something like that, so my torque converter wouldnt stay locked up, idle was terrible and cooling fans wouldnt turn on.

anyway

 

i have a faulty lower intake CTS it seems........dispite it being new a few months ago....

 

should solve some of my drivability issues i hope

 

It'll fix some fueling fer sher. ECM dumps fuel when the engines cold.
