Supercharger Question

Possible, yes.

Reasonable, no.

The supercharger on the L67 is designed to bolt onto the intake manifold. Since the 3100 is a 60-degree V6, the width between the valve covers isn't big enough. Plus, the 60-degree V6 is taller so there's no room above the engine either. However, GM *has* succeeded in mounting an Eaton blower very similar to the L67's onto a 3400 (virtually the same engine as the 3100). Check out the Grand Am SC/T concept. A google search might pull up some pictures... I found a few tiny ones here http://www.skyboom.com/petnglious2/sct.html.

Anyway, they mount the Eaton blower above the transaxle, close to the front just behind the radiator. The nose of the supercharger has an extension to bring the pulley to the front of the engine. A custom SC mount/duct connects the SC to the throttle body.

It's not reasonable, because none of those parts are available off the shelf. They were custom manufactured for this concept car.
