  1. Hi everyone. I have a fixture for rebuilding the 1989/1990 Turbo Grand Prix, TSTE exhaust crossover (x-over) pipes. The original crossovers have bellow style flex joints that cracks and leaks, causing a rich running condition. All rebuilt ones come with a woven style flex joint that is the industry standard nowadays. Also, the original is encased with a molded steel heatshield that trapped moisture against the crossover, accelerating corrosion. Once rebuilt, the heat shield is no longer utilized, with no ill effects. $375 USD shipped anywhere in North America without core return. $300 USD shipped anywhere in North America with core return. (Effectively a $75 core charge - I'd prefer to receive your rebuildable core rather than charge the $75) I have had lots of seamless transactions with members on this board and, so have no worries. All shipments will include a tracking number. PayPal and money orders are my preferred methods of payment. Any questions, concerns or comments please feel free to PM me or email me at Matt
  2. Hi Everyone, Time has come to let this one go. Recently decided to rebuild this girl but the rear trailing arm-to-chassis mount areas are too far gone with rust. The car is an '89 but has a '91 B4U package from the first time the car was completely rebuilt. Engine: Fully machined 3.1 with rebuilt short block Slight overbore (0.010") to clean up cylinders Complete port/polish heads with multi-angle valve job Crane 2030 Cam with CompCams roller-tipped rockers Forged Pistons Transmission was completely rebuilt (Valve Body, clutch packs, higher stall TC) by Level10 Transmissions out in New Jersey. At the time, trans was redone to handle 300hp with Nitrous. Unfortunately, neither of these occurred prior to the car going into storage. The B4U front bumper has some warping around the headlights, but the other moldings are in good shape. I'd prefer to see the whole car go but am willing to part out. Car was in the middle of being torn down for the rebuild so there is currently no fuel tank on the vehicle and some of the B4U body moldings have been removed (Still intact). Included is also a complete Gen 2 rear suspension section out of a Grand Prix. Intention was to use this as a donor for the larger brakes, but again, this was never done. Full Car: $750 obo Gen 2 Rear Suspension: $50 obo Part Out: Name your part, and I'll let you know Car located in North East, MD
  3. I am not a fan of these and the GTP I just bought has them on, they look great and work fine they are currently on the car now and it is my daily. I am looking for $65 shipped for them, I know how much they sell for new and honestly I have had issues with them on LSx cars and they left a bad taste in my mouth. I am putting stock coil packs on. I will get pics tonight when I get home.
  4. List up the stuff you're bringing and stuff you need. I need: 2nd Gen FSTB/RSTB Could use a L36 power steering pump as well
  5. Up for grabs I have a set of 1997 Monte Carlo 3.4 DOHC fuel injectors. I am unsure of the miles on them. Worked when pulled. $25 shipped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hey guys I'm new here, just trying to sell an engine. I picked this motor up a few years ago as a backup but I've got no use for it now as I sold the Monte Carlo I had. The motor is a complete 1991-1993 long block, from cylinder heads to oil pan. It includes every engine sensor, water pump, and alternator all brand new. There is not a used part on this engine, not even a bolt. I will include a box of used parts with the motor, along with the factory service manuals for the engine. There is a 91-93 lower intake manifold, fuel rail, 2 sets of fuel injectors, upper intake manifold, engine cover, and several (Maybe 4-5?) valve covers. Shipping is on you. I can build a crate for the engine and have it sent via freight, or you can drive out to Denver, Colorado and pick it up. Price is firm at $1,200. Thanks!
  7. I bought the wrong gauge. And never got around to returning them, and now i just want to make some of my money back. It is brand new and never used This will not fit in a piller/hud pod these guages are 2 5/8 and are larger than your standard 52mm These would make a good gauge for those looking to mount them in the 97-03 center console cubby, or a vent pod setup in a 04+ Auto Meter Phantom 20psi mechanical boost/vac guage paid $80 looking to get $50 shipped Or i will deliver at the Columbus meet for $35
  8. So these came on my car when I bought it and as luck might have it, my Dad decided to buy some new ones for my mom's GP, so I am getting her stock set. The tail lights are on the car and are in great shape, I am asking $90 plus shipping and paypal fees, I will have mine off this week, or this weekend. I am firm on the price as they are in great shape. They are these ones. I will get pictures up by tonight.
  9. Selling my little green baby. The head gasket is leaking and hubby says no to fixing it up. (OK, so he did buy me another car). Has 173,000 miles, the top and rear window replaced 8 1/2 years ago. I installed a rebuilt top motor 4 years ago and works perfectly and I know the transmission was rebuilt around 93,000 miles by previous owner. Car starts and runs and has less then 400 miles on it since the head gasket started leaking. New Goodyear Eagles installed Dec 2013 (479 miles ago) and the cracked leather seats were rebuilt and reupholstered in tan cloth in Nov 2013. It is dark green with a black top (originally had a tan top but went with black when I replaced it). I do have a set of 1995 Camaro rear window sweeps that will go with the car and can be modified to fit as replacements and the tie rods ends need replacing according to Goodyear (when I had the tires installed) I have a black boot cover and storage bag and an owners manual to go with the car. Car is located in Topeka, KS and I am asking $900.00. Feel free to text me at 785-608-5670.
  10. I'd like an FSTB for my '95 Grand Prix, but I'm not finding anything new or used out there. I do see a number of Gen2 braces out there. How different are they and has anyone modded one? Better yet, does anyone have the real thing for sale?
  11. Thought it would be cool to have a collection of all the magazine scans, commercials and all that. Heres SOME of my collection: Magazine Scans Models: Videos/Movies Josh and S.A.M. Clips from Josh and Sam Misc ^^^^3.4^^^^?? Will add as I upload, But thats it for tonight. Feel free to post whatever you've got.
  12. Bet no one remembers me from the n00b section where I blast my hate off kindly about a 1999 Buick Century Custom I have a few months ago. lol 'Scuse me if this is the wrong section to ask, but I'm looking for ideas of rims that would bolt up, I've seen a few Bullitts on them and they look great, but cause vibration at high speeds. Though that wouldn't matter because this turd vibrates at 65+ anyway I know I know, "just sell it". But It's still my mom's car, even if she says it's mine. *IF* it's signed over to me, I'm trading it for a regal, or modding the hell outa this thing, supercharged 3.8, leather seats, do something about the sloppy suspension. ectectect No mods on it right now because I'm too busy giving my merc all the love. When I get back from my vacation/dog sitting, I'm gonna buy some plastidip and do the hubcaps , pinstripe, and grille. until I find nice rims If I buy rims for my merc first, I might be tempted to stick them on the buIck. (but I don't want to, I hate cleaning HPP wheels) Lol I'm hilarious aren't I? I'M RIDIN' SPINNERS. I haven't done much stalking over here as I have elsewhere because my schedule is mainly me riding my bike around town or drawing. So I have no idea what you think about donks, probably hate me to say this, but big rims on centuries are drool worthy, if the rims are good looking. and that's coming from someone who's hated donks for years. Must be something to do with hated cars and hated wheels coming together. cause this hot. Okay I really just wish I had a regal, someone want to trade?!? *drool* omgyes...
  13. i got these in a car i picked up off craigs list the car was so mangled i could not test them it was hit in the back motor is missing some little stuff trans is complete anyways since there unknown condition (fluids look good) i dont need them and thought mby one of u would asking 250 for the pair obo u pickup in rainier oregon 97048
  14. Figured this would be a good place to post this, I'm not running an audio system at the moment but I will be in the future. My stock 105A alternator died on me. I'm a bit broke at the moment, I was intending on replacing it w/ a junkyard unit and grabbing an extra spare, but I had a 135A alternator from a Mercury Cougar 2.5L V6 laying around, I figured I'd try it for fitment. It was close enough to work with some new brackets. All it cost me was $20 for a new 2" longer belt It's a Ford "3G" alternator. Pretty easy to wire up, used this info here: Pics: My only issue is that it will probably interfere with the custom FSTB I am working on, it sits a lot higher. A custom mount bracket might correct this, but I'm not sure I'm willing to invest that much time in this. What's interesting, is apparently there is a 200A version of this 3G alt...but I don't think it comes in the same case style used on the 2.5L V6. On another note, I'll be beefing up my power & ground lines soon Thoughts?
  15. I have a FSTB from a CS convertible on my 'Prix. It uses an actual round tube as the bar, with two flattened spots for whatever reason. Every FSTB I've seen on here uses a square tube. What's the difference between the two? Is one stiffer than the other? Or is one just from the older versions and one from the newer?
  16. We have done these in the past and concept is simple post up something you want to sell/buy that you can bring/pickup at Dayton. And go from there. Since this is not FS section FS section rules don't really apply (prices don't HAVE to be listed) however use your head, buyer beware.
  17. This is the bar that was on the 91 GP I recently bought, but it doesn't look like the CS vert ones I've seen before. It's welded, and there is no clearance issue with the hood or clutch reservoir which is sweet. Also I noticed the strut covers have Koni stickers on them. Is it possible that the car has the old adjustable Koni cartridges in it?
  18. Red - sunroof - sound motor and transmission. Interior good. New tires. New water pump. Recent tune up. New Battery. All controls work. HUD works. Brake system unreliable (Powermaster 3 has been rebuilt twice and still has issues) $1500.00 If interested or would like more information please call 417.699.9665 after 5 p.m.
  19. Well, as part of the ongoing project with my GTP, I will be starting in on suspension and handling within the next four months. I'm going to replace the subframe bushings, along with the sway bar bushings and pretty much any other bushings I can get my paws on. What I was wondering is if anyone here knows of where you can buy a kit, ideally poly, that includes all of my suspension bushings? I figure it would be easier to buy a pre-made kit than to piece it together from different sources. Also: The plan right now is front and rear coil-overs, probably the Held kit on all four corners, then all new bushings all around, an Aweb RSTB, and a custom FSTB. Does that sound good to you guys, or would you recommend doing anything differently or doing more? It's going to be a full-interior daily-driven car that will see track days only on rare occasions, so I don't see any real need to go too extreme, such as solid subframe mounts or solid dogbones.
  20. Ok so the blue oldsmobile intrigue that i had for sale in the FS section has now got a different engine so once i saw the car again i cant help but think of how much i like the car. So I have the opportunity to trade my 2000 chevrolet lumina for this 2000 oldsmobile intrigue. I would like some opinions on this Also saturday i will be completely inspecting the car and would like to know if there is anything i should be looking for. I want to make sure i am making the right decision
  21. Okay, so i've been thinking of picking up a FSTB for my Lumina when i have some $$$. My question is, its a Lumina Euro 3.1 Will the STB off a Z34 with the 3.4 fit correctly? I know the local U-Pull it has a few Z34s with the STBs still in place, and i could pick them up for reasonably cheap $25 or less probably.. Would this fit? If not, what will and what are they usually going for?
  22. I got a small project going on for my g/fs impala. im also a registered user on and they gave me some insight. But I plan on modifing her L36 just a lil bit and adding GM's upgraded sway bar and trailing arm kit. Right now the only thing ive added are BFG Traction T/A's and a K&N intake. My next step im not 100% sure on. Im looking at adding an upgraded PCM and exhaust, and looking into the ugraded rockers pushrods and lifters. Like i said i somewhat know what i want to do just not sure in what order, and looking for information on the rocker kit like potentional HP gain and fuel milleage impact.
  23. Hey, so have we set a time on the 11th? My main reason for this thread is that anyone who is going to be there, I have Cutty parts cheap that I could bring with me. Too much to list here but a few items: Vert early FSTB, Modules, coils, starter, alt, wheels, lip tails, spoiler, interior, window stuff, etc. etc. Tell me what you're looking for and I'll let you guys know if I have it. See you guys on the 11th!
  24. Will the FSTB on any 3.4 clear the reservoir on a Z-34 5-speed? If more than 1 option, which is best?
  25. Went to a big pull a part yard in Cleveland today. Found all kinds of fun stuff but only left with 2 items. I will be going back on Tuesday Found a Vert, forgot the year. Was red with white leather. I snagged the FSTB which cost me only $12!!!! I aslo snagged a HUD dashpad from a 95 or 96 GP... I will be going back for the complete HUD setup and another HUD pad and setup from another 95-96 GP!!! The HUD pad is mint and cost me $12!!! I also started on pulling out a sunroof but didnt have too much time so I will get it when I go back. It'll cost me only $38 for the complete unit I also have other stuff I want to get, I just cant remember what. If anyone is interested in something, let me know as they had tons of W-bodies.. BTW, now for some crappy pics with the verts vin and of course, some OMGWTFL67BBQ!!!
