  1. I had the top on my old 95 replaced by a shop few yrs ago, they did a great job although they forgot to hook up the rear window defogger wires and some bolts on the frame were not tightened enough I bought my top from topsonline.com and it came with a detailed installation manual for the top
  2. She’s a real beauty.. I love the turquoise color a lot I don’t mind working on LQ1s.... is the fact that I have a few vintage projects( 69 olds, 70 opel, 77 pontiac, 85 camaro. Sold my 65 and 67 t-birds, 64 olds, 50 packard and 70 pontiac) and after working on these iron brutes I loose love for the LQ1s well she needs a new ICM or fuel pump... im having hard starts now and the ICM is a b**ch to get to
  3. hello All It's been a few years, my last visit to this forum was 4 yrs ago, I owned a 95 vert then I got myself another convertible, very clean one...I've had it for about 2yrs now This one is a 93, super clean no rust at all compared to my 95 I had, elderly couple owned and as much as I hate the LQ1 engines, I think its the car good looks that keeps drawing me closer to them how I wish we could fit a trusty V8 iron in these cars I haven't done much to this car at all, compared to my previous 95 where (George from the forum here) and I did some work on our cars few years ago I did however modify the stock air box to improve flow, I took out the driver side high beam out and shaved off a few inches off the air box to align it closer to the high beam hole, car looked like it was missing a tooth so I took the other high beam out, which im hoping should help engine heat feel a bit more warmer
  4. Selling a pair of front coil springs for various w-bodys, bought the set several months back new for my vert but never got to use them, Went with a custom set instead. Shoot me an offer
  5. Haha I wouldnt mind owning a car with white interior but at the same time I'd be cursing about everytime I drive it, I bet you've been doing a lot of cleaning Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  6. Ah another cutty, welcome to the forum, love the white color though hard to maintain clean, mine is a 95 black on black Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

  8. Wow such a clean vert, congrats dude welcome to the family Love the rims
  9. Welcome to the forum, Im also in MN
  10. I think it will fit the top too, if you look at the diagrams shown on the convertible one
  11. Hey Nas I think I have found the perfect if not original part for the door seals, Its on rockauto and the part number is LM108 Here is the link http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=919932&cc=1223402&jnid=471&jpid=0
  12. Actually my cutlass works in reverse, I live in minnesota and on freezing winter sub zero days the car starts like a champ, just 3 cranks and its already fired and ive never used an engine heater and the car is always parked outside but on warm days it cranks longer than that sometimes 2 starts will do the trick.
  13. They didnt wanna buy a new top, the cutlass has come a long way ever since I got it. if it could talk it will surely thank me because Ive put in more work in less than one year than the previous owners ever did during their ownership. Im having a hard time finding some sebrings being parted out on craigslist, I will keep looking and yes an official would be awesome nas.
  14. Sweet thanks will have to look for one, my new glass is installed will cut the leaks by 99%, my main leak is coming from the driver side moulding. when I bought the car the rear was duct taped, so I hade to retape them everytimw I put the top down, later I realized the plastic window isnt factory, factory one has been cut out and replaced with some heavy duty barely flexible plastic, sounded too cheap but worked for the previous owner.
  15. Love the look of it, should definately stop the water leaks. Im having the same problem on my driver side, my mouldings are torn and lets water in. You mentioned chrysler sebring, is that where the new mouldings came from? I might have to look for some.
