    hello All
It's been a few years, my last visit to this forum was 4 yrs ago, I owned a 95 vert then
I got myself another convertible, very clean one...I've had it for about 2yrs now
This one is a 93, super clean no rust at all compared to my 95 I had, elderly couple owned
and as much as I hate the LQ1 engines, I think its the car good looks that keeps drawing me closer to them
how I wish we could fit a trusty V8 iron in these cars

I haven't done much to this car at all, compared to my previous 95 where (George from the forum here) and I did some work on our cars few years ago
I did however modify the stock air box to improve flow, I took out the driver side high beam out and shaved off a few inches off the air box to align it closer to the high beam hole, car looked like it was missing a tooth so I took the other high beam out, which im hoping should help engine heat feel a bit more warmer

I’ll check my codes to see if there are from the factory. Thank you! She’s come along way! She just took first in a car show

I'm asking this for my bud Kody, he's a member here.  Do the CS coupes share the same door glass as the CS verts?  He needs to replace the broken driver's side door glass on his coupe and has some leads on a couple of CS verts with good glass.  Thanks guys!

Yes. The glass changed in 1995. So 1988-94 are different than 1995-97.

I love that "Runs and Drives" is written on the windshield. Prolly not as good as they think.

I do love fins, chrome and horse power just like everybody else, I have also put my foot down to other car collectors about my taste, but when I roll up in my car from 1990 among a sea of 69 Camaros and tri fives Chevys I stand out. We have the cars that were not suppose to survive but THEY DID! So make room, like it or not. I do understand that the majority of people grew up around the rear wheel drive big v8 cars but the FWD drive cars can pack a punch to.

Your going to have to remove the trim panel and see if it's come out of it's track or the bolts that hold the track to the motor have fallen of.

Oh Wow! that is cool to see. I love a column shift car. I didn't think they used the LQ1 that far into the 90s.

Ratchet strap is easy.  Just don't roll the engine too far forward, and start putting pressure on the radiator hoses.
I am due a plug change too.  It's been a little bit over three years since I changed them.  Guess I will keep on using the ACDelco conventional plugs AC R44LTSM since they have been doing good.  New set of wires installed last plug change, so I hope they come off easy.  I did use dielectric grease on the boots.

Not sure.  Since your car is a low mileage one, maybe that's why it still retains it.  My 89 International parts car is relatively a low mileage car too.  I stole it for the 91 car.

Nice, I don't know if I've heard of anyone doing it this way but whatever is easiest.  I might try this on my 96 CS 3.1 car.  Thanks!

I usually ask Manuel as well, but he doesn’t always answer right away

I don’t know if anyone else has done this but thought I would share just in case. One way to change the plugs and wires on the 3.1 motor is to take just the alternator off and you have full access to the rear plugs. No rotating the engine as explained in the factory Manuel and no ratchet straps, which I’ve seen people do.

I noticed the color of this car and instantly knew what it was.  My heart dropped!  I didn't want to see it but it was right in front when you walk into the yard.  Luckily I pulled the CD player, rear spoiler, and trunk hinges for a couple of members so at least some things didn't go to waste.

My parents have one of these, they bought it new.  Looks like this one was hit in the right quarter.
